Vision

A digital world which expands the potential of European ceramic. Digital experience — virtual archives, 3D models, engaging tutorials.

Mission

To develop a digital platform which will enable the creative ceramists to learn skills, share ideas and aspire to be an entrepreneur. We build a unique network amongst ceramists, knowledge institutes, SMEs, regions, and museums of Europe.

Museo Internazionale delle Ceramiche in Faenza hosted the artists who have been selected for the Future Lights in Ceramics contest in 2020 and in 2021. In particular, they presented the authors who have been selected within the EU-funded project, Creative Entrepreneurship in Ceramic Regions - Developing, Education, Encouraging (CerDee) of which the MIC of Faenza is a partner. University of West Bohemia in Pilsen (Faculty of Economics(Fakulta ekonomická Západočeské univerzity v Plzni (FEK ZČU) ) & Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art) is organizing the online Business Thinking Camp just for you.
What will you learn? We will reveal the "invisible side of design" - how to prepare a good assignment of a design project, plan the work schedule, price the products, and make an offer for the client. These are necessary designer's skills. But we target more - your own business. You will design new business models, business plans, and product pricing, and you will also learn what your business needs.

The project team of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, namely Faculty of Economics together with Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art has finished the transnational report for the CerDee project. The transnational report focused on the actual situation in porcelain and ceramics in all project partners' countries. The introductory lecture by Gabriel Vach on the workshop took place online in the Czech languages as a part of the CerDee project "Creative Entrepreneurship in Ceramic Regions - Developing, Educating, Encouraging." Gabriel is a member of the University of West Bohemia project team in Pilsen (FDULS).
